Hi, I'm Kinga. I'm originally from Poland and moved to Chicago with my family when I was 5. I was just a little girl learning to speak English in a big foreign country. Life happened, and I decided to move to Texas, leaving behind the comforts of home for the unknown. My life experiences allow me to better help with:
adjustment to new situations
being a child of immigrant parents
difficult life transitions
I wish I could say that my whole life I've wanted to be a therapist, but that's not the case. I didn't find my passion for mental health until my mid-20s, after changing majors a few times and taking a break between degrees. I almost went into accounting, and then journalism! I'm so glad that my heart landed here. I underwent pressure from society, varying levels of support, and wondering whether I would ever figure out my life. My experience includes 4 years of providing individual and group therapy in both a hospital setting as well as private practice.
